The minimum distance between the suspension points for a hammock with a 380 cm spreader bar is the same – 380 cm. A longer distance is always better, as it allows for adjustments when hanging.
It's best to mount the hooks or ropes at a height of approximately 120–150 cm from the ground.
When you sit inside, the lowest point of the hammock should be approximately 40–50 cm above the ground (chair height). This makes it easier to sit down and get up comfortably. A new cotton hammock will always stretch a few to a dozen centimeters after the first use. Hang it a little tighter or higher than you think necessary – after a few minutes of lying in bed, the fabric will "settle" into place.

Important notes: When getting up or sitting down, please do not hold onto the spreader bar, and do not jump or throw yourself suddenly into the hammock – this will break the spreader bar.
